Frequently Asked Questions at KiKi D’s!

Q: Is there a charge to book an appointment?

A: There is no charge for booking an appointment with us, but we do require a credit card to hold your appointment. You will be contacted by one of our staff members after requesting an appointment on our website for this information.

Please know if you do not show or give us at least 24 hours notice your credit card will be charged a $50 fee.

Q: How long will my appointment last?

A: Appointments are 60 minutes long and begin at your scheduled time, not when you arrive. Your appointment will include a personal stylist as well. Not only will your stylist work closely with you to ensure you are comfortable with the price range of gowns selected, but also that you leave feeling your most beautiful!

Q: What happens if my appointment runs longer then the allotted time?

A: In the event that you need more time, you may have to wait for a new dressing room to open up as we want to respect all of our clients’ time who make appointments to come shop. To accommodate all of our shoppers we ask that you respect the time allotted for your appointment. We will try to accommodate you as best we can to help you find your perfect dress.

Q:What should I bring with me to my appointment?

A: We suggest that you bring a pair of shoes and any undergarments you may want. To make your shopping experience even easier, please screenshot photos from our instagram or website of dresses you like to help your stylist pick out more options for you.

Q: Do you offer alterations in-house?

A: We do not have any in house seamstresses or tailors that work directly with us. We have a list of local and highly recommended places that will be provided to each customer who purchases a gown through us. Some of those places are:

Salvatores in Flemington, NJ

Sals Tailor Shop in Hillsborough, NJ

Centre Cleaners and Tailoring in Hillsborough, NJ

Q: What happens next after my dress is specially ordered?

A: We will schedule a T.O.G. appointment with you! TOG stands for “Try On Gown.” This appointment is to ensure the correct style, size, and length of your gown has been received correctly and to make sure all is well with the gown.

Any open balances would be due in FULL at this time. All dresses and accessories MUST go home with you after your TOG appointment.
